Wedding Invitation Design Paper Extravaganza in Atlanta

When our Atlanta bridal clients requested to come in and touch and feel our wedding invitation papers, we delivered! We now have over 400 wedding invitation design papers to choose from in our studio in Woodstock, GA, about 30 miles north of Atlanta.

Gold or Silver or Rose Gold Leather Embossing on Bibles, Hymnals and Books

It can be hard to find a leather embossing company in Atlanta who will emboss books someone has already purchased. That’s where Inkwell Designers comes to the rescue! We work with most bibles already purchased somewhere else.

Last week we helped a client who bought a bible, hymnal and book for her pastor as a gift. She called quite a few leather embossing companies in Atlanta but no one would help her emboss her books because they were already purchased. She called us desperate for help with this project. Not only did we emboss her leather books, we added gold foil to them and returned the books back to her in a few days. We also picked up the books and delivered them. Talk about top notch customer service!

We use a woodburning heat tool to emboss gold foil to the leather. Our extensive calligraphy experience helps us because we can choose from many different styles. We can also monogram leather.

Bourbon Bottle Engraving Makes a Special Birthday Gift

Bourbon bottle engraving makes an excellent and unique birthday gift experience.

We got an email from a lady in Florida who wanted to send a personalized bourbon bottle to her partner. We’ve done this in the past and we were ready to make it happen again, but it wasn’t easy.

Blanton’s Bourbon is not easy to find. It is sold in small barrel batches and bottled by hand. After a couple weeks of being on a waiting list at a package store in Atlanta, we were able to buy a bottle for her. We picked it up and engraved it for her with, “Happy Birthday Angel” as well as “Love, Jess” on the bottom. Then we gift wrapped, packaged it and delivered it to the recipient. We also included a note created in our beautiful calligraphy. All she had to do was call and order it and we did the rest of the work.

She was delighted! She gave us a 5 star Google review stating, “Placed an order for a Bourbon Bottle with engraving on it recently and I am absolutely satisfied with the outcome. I cannot wait until my significant other receives it. Not only did they buy it for me, they wrapped it and wrote a beautiful note in calligraphy which saved me a lot of time. In-Store Engraving Events Create Lasting Memories

In-store engraving events keep us busy during the holidays year round. I just finished an in-store engraving event at Saks Fifth Avenue at Phipps Plaza for Kilian Fragrances and it was very successful. We find customers by 25% more product at each event and there are more repeat sales for brands who offer this service. “We see fragrances fly off the shelves when Inkwell Designers is in our store.” stated the Director of Fragrance Marketing.

Our typical event is between 4 and 6 hours. We ask the store to set up a table for us with a chair and electrical outlet. We only take up a couple feet of space. All we use is a small dental drill and a quiet compressor. We don’t take up much space and don’t get in the way of customer traffic.

My favorite part of all of my in-store engraving events is the smile on our customer’s faces the moment I hand them the object I’ve engraved. The picture below captures Kathy’s excitement beautifully. I engraved her Kilian fragrance clutch with her childhood nickname,”Caddy.” She loved it!

Sometimes my in-store engraving events create moments that I’ll never forget. My last customer of the day made me cry. I was running about 30 minutes over the allotted time when this customer came up to me. She had a Tiffany bracelet on and asked me if I could engrave it for her. She was given the bracelet by her mom who passed away four years ago. I was happy to engrave “Cupcake” on it for her. When I was done, she began to cry. I hugged her and we had a really nice moment thinking about her mom. I was so happy to do that for her. She will always think about her mom when she looks at that bracelet and I am honored to have been able to make that happen for her.

Our holiday in-store engraving events book up very quickly throughout the year including Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Valentine’s Day and the holidays between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve. Stethoscope Engraver Helps Nurse at Saks Fifth Avenue

A stethoscope engraver (me!) actually helped a nurse out of a jam last week at Saks Fifth Avenue at Phipps Plaza in Atlanta.

A few days before my fragrance engraving event at Saks, I got a call from Ms. Maxwell about how her first stethoscope had been stolen. She was desperately looking for a stethoscope engraver online and found our website.

I told her about my fragrance engraving event at Saks Fifth Avenue the following Friday and promptly forgot about the call.

I was at the fragrance event doing my engraving for a long line of customers. When I looked up at my next customer, instead of handing me a perfume bottle to engrave, she handed me a stethoscope. I laughed out loud when I realized it was Ms. Maxwell standing in front of me ready for this stethoscope engraver to get to work. I engraved the stethoscope with her name and added a little heart for good luck since she worked in the cardiac area of the hospital. She absolutely loved it! She came around the table to give me a big hug. Friends, those are the moments I live for when doing my engraving work! When I see someone’s happy face when I’ve handed them my work on their fragrance bottle, wine bottle, stethoscope or whatever, that’s the GOLD at the end of the engraver’s rainbow.
