Personalized Wine Glasses Engraved at a Private Wedding on Hilton Head Island

Personalized wine glasses give guests a unique experience.

Personalized wine glasses were a gift given to the bride and groom, Jules and Michael, at another wedding they attended. They wanted the same experience for guests at their wedding on Hilton Head Island. They had hired another wine glass engraver who then backed out at the last minute because she couldn’t bring her equipment to the beach house they rented for the wedding. That’s where Inkwell Designers stepped in!

Jules called us and not only were we able to offer personalized wine glasses for her guests, we offered to come to the wedding and do them in person right at the house. Jules was elated and hired us immediately!

We brought our equipment and used two chairs and a sturdy table the bride provided for us next to an electrical outlet.

We set up in a corner right in front of the door so guests could get their personalized wine glasses as soon as they walked in.

We offered to engrave anything guests wanted on each glass. We engraved 40 glasses for the guests within two hours. Here are some of the glasses we engraved. Each glass was engraved individually for each guest. Guests could choose exactly what phrases, names and artwork they wanted engraved.

We even created a special wine glass engraving requested by the bride’s mother with a sea turtle that matched their wedding theme on it.

The bride was so happy, she gave us a 5-star review on Google.

All work and no play? Nah! We took a little time out at the beach ourselves. We enjoyed every minute and can’t wait to visit Hilton Head Island again!

Fragrance Engraving Events are Our Specialty Worldwide

Fragrance engraving events are popular around major holidays like Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas and seasonal fragrance events. Engraved fragrances are a beautiful keepsake for any occasion and people love to get creative with their engraving. We recently engraved fragrances for a Derby Day themed event for Dillard’s Perimeter Mall in Atlanta, Georgia and Dillard’s in Tallahassee, Florida.

We sit in the store at the fragrance engraving events and engrave fragrance and perfume bottles right in front of the customer. We’ve engraved hundreds of fragrance bottles for companies such as Macy’s, Dillards, Coty International, Saks Fifth Avenue and Kilian Fragrances.

Our fragrance engraving events have been known to help the store sell thousands of dollars of fragrances beyond their normal numbers. People tend to buy in bulk on that date. Some even wait to buy their fragrances on the days we engrave so they can get their engraving FREE from the store. Plus those fragrances we engrave are non-returnable which helps the store manage inventory and cut down on returns.

Benchmade Knife Engraving for an Eagle Scout

The Benchmade knife engraving was created for a newly minted Eagle Scout in Atlanta, Georgia. His parents wanted to give him the knife as a gift to commemorate the date he became an Eagle Scout.

They wanted his name, the Eagle Scout title and the date engraved on a small surface. It was easy with our dental drill and a small burr. (The burr is what we use to cut into the metal.)

We were able to turn this around for them within 48 hours so they could present him the knife after the ceremony.

Here is an example of another Coast knife we monogrammed with the owner’s initials.

Leather Debossing a Special Name on a Bible Cover

Leather debossing is the art of raising material around an impression. In this case, we raised the material around the Hebrew symbols on this leather bible cover. Embossing refers to the creation of a raised impression under high heat of a logo or lettering on materials such as paper, cloth, metal, or leather.

The client brought us his leather bible or jacket cover and wanted the Hebrew symbols for “Yahweh” debossed into it. He also wanted his initials on the lower right hand corner “RKT” in regular Copperplate script calligraphy.

Our leather debossing is done by hand, we were able to copy the symbols into the leather with a woodburning tool. The leather was essentially branded by the heat.

The client was very happy with the final result and ended up bringing more work to us and referring a few friends.

Wine Bottle Engraver a Big Hit at Whole Foods in Atlanta

When our wine bottle engraver showed up to engrave wine bottles for FREE at Whole Foods in Buckhead and Ponce the week of Valentine’s day, customers were introduced to a new type of artwork done right in front of them called wine bottle engraving. Our wine bottle engraver takes a dental drill and engraves any message right in front of the customer. The set up is similar to the picture above. All our wine bottle engraver needs is a chair, a table and an electrical outlet.

People were so impressed by the fact the wine bottle engraving was free, they bought multiple bottles for several friends and family members. That’s what it’s all about, selling more wine. One lady drove two hours and bought 20 bottles for her daughter’s wedding!

One young man had his wine bottle engraved, brought it home and his girlfriend dropped it. They came back an hour later for another bottle because she loved it so much. Whole Foods managers were so impressed they hired Inkwell Designers to engrave wine bottles for Mother’s Day.
