Creating Hand Engraved Wedding Glasses

My brother is getting married this weekend in Montana so I designed a couple of hand engraved wedding glasses for him and his bride. They can use these wedding glasses both during the ceremony and for years to come as a remembrance of their special day. Their initials are M and M as you can see in the image. I added their wedding date and “Congratulations!” at the bottom of each wedding glass. I also added little hearts as a reminder of the love they share.

What’s really funny is I used a dental drill to hand engrave these wedding glasses. My brother is a dentist so the irony wasn’t lost on both of us.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t make it to the wedding and had to deliver these via FedEx. It worked out just fine. The hand engraved wedding glasses got there in one piece and they were able to use them the same day for a special toast.

When I first saw hand engraved personalized wine bottles in real life, they stopped me in my tracks. They were unlike anything else I’d seen before and I knew they would make special gifts for our clients.

My own first engraved wine bottle was a gift sent to me from my engraving teacher. He wanted to show me what was possible with a simple dental drill. It was amazing and made quite an impression on me.

I immediately signed up to learn how to create personalized wine bottles with my own calligraphy style.

I learned how to engrave with a dental drill and use a fine gold or silver buff to finish the engraving with a sparkle unlike any other. Hand engraved wine bottles are unlike etched wine bottles because the engraving can’t ever wear off. It is a deeper cut and more personalized than any engraving machine. We now sell personalized wine bottle to brides, corporate buyers, wine suppliers and distributors in and around the Atlanta area. Learning Personalized Hand Engraving

A couple weeks ago Joe and I learned the art of personalized hand engraving glass and metal items of all kinds. Personalized hand engraving makes both wedding and corporate gifts even more unique. Adding calligraphy to these items adds a very personal touch you can’t get with an engraving or etching machine.

We are now regularly hired for wine events, fragrance counter events and by popular engraving and jewelry shops because it’s hard to find engravers who can engrave oddly shaped items such as:
