Monogrammed trade show giveaways were voted most popular at the recent National Retail Federation show. Inkwell Designers℠ monogrammed 1,350 credit card holders and money clips for all attendees who visited the Kronos booth for three days straight. People loved see their initials in silver foil or debossed with no color on the leather items we gave them.

The National Retail Federation show, or Retail’s Big Show as some call it, is held once a year in New York City. Companies ranging from Trader Joe’s to Ralph Lauren attend to see the latest technology and software to help run their stores more efficiently. We worked at the Kronos booth for three days where attendees had their choice of monogrammed trade show giveaways including a credit card holder and a money clip in various colors.

Word quickly spread like wildfire throughout the show about the cool and unique leather monogrammed tradeshow giveaways. Other companies were asking Kronos employees to save them swag and many wanted them as gifts for their customers and families.

What really intrigued people was seeing our low-tech machines at a high-tech conference. Everyone stopped to stare at the machine as they walked by. They couldn’t figure out what it was. Was it a microscope? Some sort of tattoo machine? The name Gutenberg started to float around, the actual inventor of the printing press.

The Kronos booth became the place to be. The monogrammed trade show giveaways were so popular, Kronos ran out of them by early afternoon the third day of the show.

Here is a video that shows how popular the booth was during the show and what our set-up looked like. It was very simple. All we need is a 6 ft table and two chairs near an electrical outlet. We had two tables at this show with two machines.

We recently created personalized, monogrammed leather notebooks at the Edgile trade show booth at the Gartner Identity and Access Management Summit this past week in Las Vegas. The notebooks were quite a hit and created a buzz around the conference. We had a line waiting for our custom, personalized notebooks. We were invited to emboss leather notebooks at the event in a live setting for booth attendees. Here is the picture of the actual notebook we embossed. We added the monogram on the bottom right hand corner with our machines at the trade show booth.

They like to call us the “Fastest Embossers in the South” because we can emboss one book each minute. We embossed around 200 books in less than 3 hours. Here is a picture of our CEO, Desiree Colonna, working in the booth before the show opened.

We don’t take up much space and only need a few feet of trade show booth space to work our magic. The Marketing Director from Edgile was very happy with the results, especially when he saw the reaction to guests at our booth after they received their notebooks. We heard, “This is the best swag I’ve ever seen!” and “You guys really hit this one out of the park!”

All in all it was a great show. We were even treated to a beautiful sunset on the flight back to Atlanta.

Custom leather dog collars were the “must have item” at the Columbia, South Carolina Fur Ball event sponsored by Jim Hudson Lexus. The event was held to benefit the Pawmetto Animal Shelter. The shelter is a no-kill shelter for animals in the Columbia area. It takes over one million dollars to keep the shelter up and running each year.

Our Chief Embossing Officer, Desiree Colonna, manned the embossing machine for four hours straight with no breaks. Desiree stated, “Embossing leather is something I love to do, especially when I see the reaction of the customer. They absolutely loved these leather dog collars and couldn’t wait to take them home to their dogs!”

The collars were provided by Mel Boteri, a handbag designer in Atlanta who had them pre-stamped with the Lexus logo. Desiree added the dog’s name on the custom leather dog collars in front of customers at her booth in gold or silver foil. There was also the option of no foil, just debossed with no color.

We knew the custom leather dog collars were going to be big hit when we realized the line for the dog collars was longer than both the lines for the food table and bar!

Attendees of all ages love the dog collars. It was fun to watch everyone show off their special gifts around the room as the night went on. The collars were so popular, the booth started running out of sizes. All in all, 250 collars were embossed throughout the night.

The night was filled with music, great food and dancing. Guests all had a lovely time and enjoyed the event from start to finish. Our custom leather dog collars at the Lexus station were icing on the cake and a great memory of a beautiful night.

The best feedback we received was in an email the next day from the dogs of one of the attendees. They wrote, “Thank you for our new collars with our names on them.  Mom told us how long and hard you worked at the Fur Ball.  Doggie licks and hugs, Sophie and Rusty.”
