Golf Tournament Gifts Personalized at RBC Heritage in Hilton Head

Golf tournament gifts embossed on site at the RBC Heritage PGA Golf Tournament in Hilton Head, South Carolina scored an ace with guests and corporate clients! It was the 50th anniversary of this popular golf event and we were invited to participate in the corporate gifting experience by embossing bags on site. We are all big fans of golf so being able to attend the event was a nice fit for both ourselves and our client, Royal Bank of Canada. You can see our embossing in action in the video below.

We worked with the Royal Bank of Canada through their marketing partner to emboss leather patches with monograms on custom-made gym bags at the golf tournament for clients and VIP guests at Harbourtown Golf Links in the VIP Clubhouse Suite.

We worked every day of the four day event and embossed over 1,000 bags. We averaged 50 to 60 per hour. We were set up at a 6 ft. table with two chairs in the corner of the clubhouse. We don’t take up much space at most events which is one of the reasons our customers love to work with us. They can always find room for a banquet table.

We were able to meet both corporate gifting clients as well as a few PGA players such as Matt Kuchar, Dustin Johnson, Graeme McDowell and Steve Scott. Our table was the most popular in the room. People put their orders in before they went out to watch the tournament and were able to pick up the bags on their way out when they left later that afternoon.

Clients especially loved the on site personalization of the golf tournament gifts we provided with our leather embossing. They couldn’t believe we could add their initials and monograms right on site at our corporate gifting table. Once word got out, even those people who didn’t have tickets to the VIP Suite tried to sneak in and get a bag!

We enjoyed meeting and talking to clients from all walks of life. The best part is people really appreciated the work we did and we were thanked many times for the personalized golf tournament gifts.

Our first golf tournament was a success and we already look forward to many more in the future. We knew we did a good job when our big boss hugged us at the end and thanked us for driving up from Atlanta especially for the event. We enjoyed meeting all of the Royal Bank of Canada executives as well.

On-Site Foil Stamping at the MillerCoors Distributor Convention

On-site foil stamping was the biggest booth draw at the MillerCoors Distributor Convention in Austin, TX. We were one booth of many brands under the MillerCoors name, but our lines were even longer than those serving alcohol. People waited 10 to 15 minutes to get their monograms hot foil stamped on their custom hardcover journals. As one guest said, “It was totally worth it!”

The journals were made from a denim-like hardcover paper. These hot foil stamped easily with our embossing machines. We added silver foil to the bottom right-hand corner of each journal. We added both two and three initials of each guest, which made them very personalized and our on-site foil stamping highly sought-after swag.

Our set up did not take up much space at all. They had two four foot tables for us by an electrical outlet with two chairs. We took up just about 8 feet of space. On-site foil stamping is an easy addition to even a small booth at any event.

We loved the way MillerCoors incorporated the journals into the booth’s bookshelves along with other branded memorabilia.

These were the pieces of foil we had used in a goldfish jar at the end of the night. This guy’s jacket even matched his new hot foil stamped journal!

People loved the on-site foil stamping activation at this convention. We had lines the entire time and ran out of journals about an hour before the event ended. All in all, the event was a success for our client. They loved the on-site experience as much as their guests.

Live Monogramming Event for Tory Burch Popup at Dallas Nordstrom

Our live monogramming event for the Tory Burch Popup Shop in Nordstrom North Park in Dallas was an innovative experience for customers. We offered personalized hot foil monogramming free with purchase. Tory Burch is partnering with Nordstrom in March to offer popup shops all over the country including Dallas, Houston, Chicago and Miami. Nordstrom invited Inkwell Designers℠ to be part of the event and offer live monogramming to customers.

Our CEO, and Master Embosser, Desiree Colonna flew out to Dallas to work at the event two days in a row, March 17 and 18, and will fly to Chicago the following weekend to host another live monogramming event. Customers are able to choose leather items such as handbags, sneakers and sandals and Desiree monogrammed them in person at the popup event.

Customization has become very important to people in a very high tech world. Customers loved watching the monogramming process live and in person at this event. Here is a picture of one customer with her handbag. We offered both silver and gold foil monograms at the event in our popular block font. Each item took less than a minute to do.

Customers also bought handbags in a pre-sale option where they bought the bag before the event. Desiree then finished the bags at the event and customers picked them up the next day after the live monogramming event was completed.

Our live monogramming event activation doesn’t take up much space. We just need a table and a chair near an electrical outlet and we’re all set. Our table was set up in the popup shop and took up only about 6 square feet of space.

The Tory Burch popup shop was beautifully decorated with the designer’s patterns and offered everything from clothing to jewelry and shoes.

However, the shoe section stole our hearts and was the most popular with customers as well!

On Site Foil Embossing Shines at Private Houston Event

On site foil embossing was a shining success at a private event for Latham and Watkins clients in Houston, Texas. The private party consisted of clients of the law firm from all over the state. We had a beautiful set up in the corner of the office with a gorgeous view of downtown Houston. Even though it was cloudy, the view was breathtaking, especially as night descended into darkness and the city lights put on a show for all of us.

Guests were given their choice of brown or black leather charger cord and cell phone accessory holders. Once they chose their favorite color, they brought them to our table to get embossing in either gold or silver foil or debossecd with no color. On site foil embossing is a popular gift item because its a very high-end, elegant gift which is not just beautiful, but practical as well.

Guests loved the luxurious on site embossing experience and felt special when they were handed their freshly monogrammed leather items. We embossed over 500 items during the 5 hour event.

On site foil embossing at events is a new way of making the gifting process very personal. Guests loved watching the monogramming happen right in front of them and it made for some great conversations at the event. It also helped elevate the brand for Latham and Watkins by their giving such special gifts to their clients.

Guests enjoyed a huge buffet of wonderful food as well as an open bar. It was an evening to remember and another successful on site embossing event for our company as well.

Personalized Journals Most Popular Swag at Commodity Classic

Personalized journals were the most popular swag at the Commodity Classic in Anaheim, California this month. We monogrammed over 1,000 journals over three days in the Farm Credit booth with our portable embossing machines. Every guest to the Farm Credit booth received their own set of personalized journals which were also embossed with the Farm Credit logo and entitled “Success Stories” which encouraged clients to track their business success.

Once word got out about the personalized journals the first day, the Farm Credit booth was the hot destination for some awesome swag. People loved the personalization right in front of them and we had many people just stop and watch the process for 10 minutes at a time. That’s great for the booth employees because it gives them a chance to chat with both current and potential new customers.

Our booth didn’t take up much space. We only needed a 6 ft long table near an electrical outlet and two chairs. That’s another benefit of our embossing. Our clients can build their booth around a very small footprint.

Here is a video testimonial from a Farm Credit client who waited a couple days to get her personalized journal. She waited because we were so busy and wanted to get one for her daughter but felt it was definitely worth it. This is a typical reaction from our booth guests when we emboss items at events and trade shows around the country.

The magic about embossed and personalized journals at events is its an activation that keeps people at the booth much longer. This gives booth workers a chance to scan the potential customer’s badge and strike up a conversation with them. That’s the real reason our embossing station works so well at events we are invited to attend.

These journals embossed like a dream because the covers were actually paper. Booth guests were able to choose to have them monograms created with silver or gold foil. We created equal amounts of both. It was an extra personalized touch people loved.

We wrapped up the show a little early on the third day because we actually ran out of journals. Usually clients have boxes of extra swag they have to take home. We ALWAYS run out at every show we do because of the high demand of the final personalized swag. That says a lot about the success of our event embossing. It is always the most popular at any event we’ve worked in the past.

The Farm Credit employees at the booth were amazed at how much traffic we attracted throughout the three day event and were very pleased with the results. They definitely want to invite us back to do personalized items for their booth again in the future.

Monogrammed Trade Show Giveaways Popular at National Retail Federation Expo

Monogrammed trade show giveaways were voted most popular at the recent National Retail Federation show. Inkwell Designers℠ monogrammed 1,350 credit card holders and money clips for all attendees who visited the Kronos booth for three days straight. People loved see their initials in silver foil or debossed with no color on the leather items we gave them.

The National Retail Federation show, or Retail’s Big Show as some call it, is held once a year in New York City. Companies ranging from Trader Joe’s to Ralph Lauren attend to see the latest technology and software to help run their stores more efficiently. We worked at the Kronos booth for three days where attendees had their choice of monogrammed trade show giveaways including a credit card holder and a money clip in various colors.

Word quickly spread like wildfire throughout the show about the cool and unique leather monogrammed tradeshow giveaways. Other companies were asking Kronos employees to save them swag and many wanted them as gifts for their customers and families.

What really intrigued people was seeing our low-tech machines at a high-tech conference. Everyone stopped to stare at the machine as they walked by. They couldn’t figure out what it was. Was it a microscope? Some sort of tattoo machine? The name Gutenberg started to float around, the actual inventor of the printing press.

The Kronos booth became the place to be. The monogrammed trade show giveaways were so popular, Kronos ran out of them by early afternoon the third day of the show.
