The tags in the picture above are Coach™ luggage tags which our customer bought at TJ Maxx™ and brought to us to emboss. We used both silver and gold foil, depending on her preference and her tag colors. We worked together to create the perfect gifts for some graduating seniors.

When Chaplain Danny Horne needed a monogrammed briefcase, after a frustrating search, he found Inkwell Designers in Atlanta. Chaplain Horne is a minister to juveniles in the justice system looking to better their lives and turn things around for themselves. He has a special mission to help reform those young people who have lost their path in life. We were so happy to work with him on this monogramming project. He had gone to Atlanta Leather & Luggage Depot only to find they were closed, doors barred, out of business. He found Inkwell Designers on Google, called and we took care of him immediately.

Chaplain Horne wanted a special font for his monogrammed briefcase. He asked if we could create a monogram in Times New Roman. I told him we could and we delivered! We created the exact size and design he wanted.

Every briefcase monogram is created by hand with a special woodburning tool. I trace the design onto the briefcase or leather item and then recreate it with my wood burner. It’s a lot like branding a steer but much easier. The results are permanent and won’t come off by wiping it or with water.

I personally delivered the monogrammed briefcase to Chaplain Horne on a Saturday. He loved it and couldn’t wait to use it on Sunday!

Leather monogramming makes your leather gift items even more special for the recipient by adding that special touch of personalization people love.

This was a Christmas gift for a lady’s boyfriend this year. She found us engraving over at Dillard’s and asked if we did leather monogramming. I told her we did and she hired us on the spot. She also wanted to add the monogram with gold foil which is one of our specialties. We can use gold, silver, rose gold and other color foils to add a sparkle to the leather monogramming on any smooth leather item.

We took the briefcase to our studio and went to work.

We take a heated woodburning tool and use it to add the monogramming to the leather. We put the foil on top of the item and actually melt the foil right into the leather. It is permanent and will not come off with water or if someone rubs it with their finger. It actually melts right into the leather.

She wanted a specific script which we found and then we transferred it by hand to the leather item using our woodburning tool.

The result was fantastic and she was elated when she saw it. She even gave us a nice review on Facebook!
