Leather Stamping Activation with Apple Pay at the Chicago Marathon

Our leather stamping activation in Chicago, exclusively created for marathon runners and their guests, was an exciting experience they had not seen before. We set up our pop-up shop at two Fleet Feet sports locations on the day of the marathon and the day after.

Guests were encouraged to use their Apple Pay application on their iPhone to purchase leather keyfobs at the leather stamping activation in both stores. We create leather stamping and other types of activations worldwide.

The keyfobs were beautifully hand-cut leather and were sold for $2 each.

Finishers were lined up in droves to get their medals engraved for free at each store. While they waited for the engraving, they could quickly step over into the leather stamping activation line and get a keyfob stamped with the date of the marathon, their run time or their initials.

We stamped close to 400 leather keyfobs in two days in two separate locations in Chicago.

Runners loved the fact they could personalize their new keyfobs in gold foil or no color. The beautifully, elegant leather keyfobs were a big hit and they were the perfect reminder of a personal PR or running achievement. Friends and family could get their names or initials on their keyfobs to match.

We created a special die for the date and then interchangable text dies for the initials and running times. The leather stamping activation was a huge hit with the crowd because they could customize their items with many choices.

We really enjoyed meeting Chicago Marathon runners at the stores and talking to them while they waited for their medals to be engraved. They had some great stories and really glowed with pride, even though their legs and feet were sore. Fleet Feet had recovery chairs and massages ready and waiting for them while they waited. Everyone was in great spirits and we enjoyed working with the runners and their families.

Live Event Artists Embossing for BlackRock

Live event artists are a hot trend at conferences and trade shows. Our artists embossed card cases and journals for BlackRock at the Grace Hopper Conference in Orlando, Florida. At our previous activation for BlackRock we also embossed journals in San Diego at the LPL conference. When BlackRock saw how successful the embossing activation was at the San Diego event, we were asked to partner with them again at their next conference.

Our live embossing artists embossed attendees initials in gold or silver foil or no foil color. The reaction of some of our attendees was priceless!

We embossed over 2,500 items in three days at the BlackRock booth. The most amazing thing is we had people waiting in line every, single day! The lines never stopped, and neither did we. We only took two, 15 minute staggered breaks in order to keep the line going. Attendees waited no longer than 10 to 15 minutes because our embossing takes only one minute per item. Its very fast, but the results are amazing. Our live event artists use the same high-end machines found at Louis Vuitton and other luxury stores.

Our live embossing artists had a table set up right in the booth with two embossing machines. Everyone loved the activation. As word got out, we were the most popular booth at the show, hands down! It was unofficially announced the BlackRock activation was the best swag at the show. We were told this many times by attendees throughout the three days we worked there. We even had other booth vendors from companies like Google, Facebook, Disney and Prudential coming to our booth to get gifts for their team!

Experiential activations have become very popular with conference attendees, specifically items personalized and custom created in front of their eyes live and in person.

Guests take home a beautiful gift which not only has your logo on it, but their initials. This is next-level branding at its best!

Georgia Engraving Company Completes CVS Project in 24 Hours

Georgia engraving company, Inkwell Designers, performed a miracle this week.

It was a last-minute job most georgia laser engraving companies would have turned away. Not us. We were willing to try and make it happen. Once you step in the ring and face the challenge head on, miracles really do happen.

The call came in on Thursday afternoon around 5. A manager from CVS Corporate contacted us to engrave 10 leatherette notebooks as a surprise for her team on Monday. We had to get them back to her by Saturday.

The odds were stacked against our small Georgia laser engraving company. The biggest challenge is we didn’t have the notebooks they wanted in stock. We had to order them from a company called Johnson’s Plastics and hope and pray they came in the next day. To make matters worse, this was now after 4 pm on Thursday and we missed the overnight shipping cut off. We called and ordered anyway. The good news is the warehouse was located in Lawrenceville, GA and we are located in Woodstock, GA. The JP team members we worked with promised they could courier the books to us the next day and we’d get them by the afternoon. We placed the order and waited.

Johnson’s Plastics delivered on their promise! Sure enough, the notebooks arrived to our Woodstock Georgia engraving company studio by 3 pm on Friday. We had 3 hours to laser engrave them and get them to FedEx to ship out. Oh the pressure!

We were able to laser engrave the notebooks and get them all out to FedEx by 6 pm for a next day delivery on a Saturday within 3 hours! This was exactly 24 hours after we received the call from CVS Corporate. We performed a miracle because we believed we could, and we did it with no hesitation. Our Georgia engraving company became the little engine that could.

Needless to say, our contact at CVS Corporate was ecstatic! She literally squealed on the phone when we told her the notebooks were shipped and scheduled to arrive the next day. Mission accomplished!

When our customers call, we listen carefully and try our very best to make sure we deliver what we promise. Can we do this every time? Maybe not, but our little Georgia laser engraving company is willing to try and that’s half the battle. We also have a great partner in Johnson’s Plastics. They supplied the journals and really came through in a pinch with overnight shipping!

On Site Monogramming for Gillette at Barbercon in NYC

On site monogramming is one of our most popular experiential activations at events worldwide. We recently offered our unique leather embossing service at the Gillette booth at Barbercon in New York City. Barbercon is where all things hair and beard can be found. We set up right inside their booth next to their barber chair where they had the top barbers in the country cutting hair and trimming beards all day long with the new Gillette SkinGuard razor. We don’t take up much space so we can set up virtually anywhere.

We use hot brass dies to add initials, names, logos and custom symbols. Guests can choose from a variety of foil colors, giving their leather gift a personalized design right in front of their eyes.

We’ve worked with hundreds of Fortune 100, 500 and 1000 companies to offer on site embossing at tradeshows, conventions, private parties and in department stores. We were one of the first companies to develop leather embossing at shows and have the entire experience perfected to a tee! We are the fastest and friendliest on site embossers in the industry and we have many repeat clients all over the world.

Our CEO, Desiree Colonna, was the embossing expert at this three day event. Desiree loves to work most of our shows herself. “Working at events gives me the opportunity to meet some wonderful people as well as see some exciting cities along the way.”

Working with Royce leather in New York, we were able to offer beautiful Napa leather key fobs stamped with the company’s logo on one side. We left the other side blank where Desiree stamped the key fobs in gold foil with attendees initials. On site monogramming never looked so beautiful and elegant.

There were so many fun things at this event including custom haircuts shaped like any character you can dream of. There were a lot of creative ideas around every corner.

The on site monogramming experience was one of the most popular activations at the event and there was a line of attendees waiting for their custom key fobs every day. Guests never waited more than 3 or 4 minutes for their gift.

Experiential Events for Autograph Collection Hotels in Washington DC

Experiential events in Washington DC can be quite an experience, especially when we bring leather luggage tags and journals to emboss with gold and silver foil.

Autograph Collection Hotels by Marriott wanted a unique, old-fashioned experiential marketing experience for their ASTA Legislative Conference guests. The theme was Roaring 20s and everyone dressed in their favorite 20s costume.

Our CEO embossed over 150 journals and leather luggage tags at the experiential event in 3 hours. However, no one waited more than a minute for their luggage tag. Desiree can emboss one item per minute, 60 in an hour.

Our leather embossing experiential events are very popular especially when our clients want a classic, elegant experience. Our machines are the same they used in printing houses in years gone by with a modern twist. They really fit into the old-fashioned decor.

Our embossers wear a black uniform which is very nondescript and fits into any type of event. Our CEO, Desiree Colonna, did the embossing herself. Her favorite part of the evening was when the Event Director gave her a big wink letting her know the experience was a big hit with partygoers.

Guests love our embossing events and always enjoy the overall theme of personalized gifts, especially when they are created in front of them. We were able to provide a seamless experience during the three hour event from start to finish.

Our set up at the event is a very small footprint and we were able to fit our machine and accessories on a beautiful old table right out of a 1920s living room. The table matched the decor perfectly and the candlelight was beautiful, in character with the theme of the evening.

Leather Stamping Event for DonJulio Tequila at Dreamville Music Festival

Leather stamping event experiences are our most requested activation. We asked to create a leather stamping event at the inaugural Dreamville Festival in Raleigh, North Carolina for Don Julio Tequila.

We were invited to this outdoor music festival to hand stamp monograms on 350 keyfobs for guests at the DonJulio Tequila booth. The festival had over 18,000 attendees so this was a first come, first served gift. People loved the activation and getting their initials monogrammed on each keyfob. We offered several different leather colors including black, silver, brown and blush pink. The keychains were prestamped during production with the DonJulio logo.

The lines to our leather stamping event booth were long for the entire 4 hours we were stamping. We didn’t take one break the entire time!

There was even an impromptu dance that broke out in our line while people waited to get their leather keychains monogrammed!

The keyfobs were a big hit with fans and our client was extremely happy with the outcome. People stayed around the booth just to wait 10 to 15 minutes for their keychain. That’s what it was all about, brand recognition.

Our CEO, Desiree Colonna and her husband, Joe, loved the reaction from fans after they received their stamped keychains. Leather stamping event activations make feel so special especially when the gift is such high quality leather. The leather was provided by Royce Leather in NYC.

At the end of the day, they felt like they accomplished their mission, to keep fans happy and the line flowing the entire time.

The leather stamping event was a wild success and so was the first year of the Dreamville Festival. We’re already looking forward to next year!
